Mango steak tacos
Sweet, savoury & just a little spicy. the kind of balance in one bite that Mexican flavours are known for. For this version, we’re pairing carefully seasoned beef with fresh mango & layering it over our warm corn tortillas.

Ingredients
- 4 La Tortillería corn tortillas
- 250 g beef, sliced into small strips
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ small onion, finely sliced
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- ½ cup fresh mango, diced
- Salsa chipotle from La Tortillería
- Olive oil
- Salt, to taste
Cooking Instructions
- Heat a frypan over medium-high heat with a little olive oil.
- Add onion & garlic & cook until softened.
- Season the beef with salt & spices, then cook until browned but still tender.
- Fold through the fresh mango & cook for another minute so it softens slightly but keeps its shape.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a hot pan until soft & pliable.
- Fill with the beef & mango mixture, finish with salsa chipotle & serve straight away.
